Our Work

Our work extends to women in prison and those who have been formerly incarcerated. We strive to improve their living conditions by advocating for better hygiene standards and access to health care. We also champion their rights, ensuring they are treated with dignity and respect, and work towards their successful reintegration into society.

We believe in the importance of increasing women's participation in politics. By empowering women to take on leadership roles and engage in political processes, we aim to promote gender equality and ensure diverse representation in decision-making spaces.​

Men's mental health is often overshadowed by societal expectations that men should be stoic and self-reliant, leading to silence and stigma. At the Gender Justice Collective, we strive to break these taboos by promoting awareness, providing support groups, and offering tailored mental health resources. Our goal is to foster environments where men can openly discuss their mental health and seek the help they need without fear of judgment.

Period poverty affects millions, limiting access to menstrual products and education, and reinforcing gender inequality. At the Gender Justice Collective, we work to end period poverty by providing essential resources, raising awareness, and advocating for policies that ensure menstrual health is a right, not a privilege. Our efforts aim to empower individuals and promote gender equality through improved menstrual health.

Education is a powerful tool for achieving gender equality. The Gender Justice Collective supports initiatives that provide equal educational opportunities for all genders, focusing on eliminating barriers that prevent girls and non-binary individuals from accessing education. By promoting gender-sensitive curricula and safe learning environments, we aim to empower the next generation to build a more equitable world.

Access to health and reproductive rights is essential for gender equality. The Gender Justice Collective champions comprehensive healthcare services, including reproductive health education and access to contraception. We advocate for policies that protect and expand these rights, ensuring that everyone has control over their own bodies and health decisions.

Our efforts extend to addressing the intersection of gender, climate change, and sustainability. We advocate for policies and practices that consider the unique impacts of environmental issues on women and promote their active involvement in climate action and sustainable development initiatives.
